Curonian Spit to Klaipeda
Just conquered my debut trek along the Jurtaka trail from the Curonian Spit to Klaipeda! Covered around 15 kilometers, and the sand dunes were absolutely mind-blowing, though the hike itself was moderately challenging. Packed enough water and snacks to keep me going, and it's such a perfect weather. A sunny day with a refreshing breeze made every step worth it. Can hardly contain my excitement for what tomorrow's adventure holds!

Ah, the stretch from the Curonian Spit to Klaipeda is a stunning section of the Jurtaka trail. It's a narrow strip of land separating the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic Sea, known for its unique sand dunes and picturesque landscapes. The trail offers breathtaking views as it winds through the sandy terrain, and then there is Klaipeda, a charming port city, marking the end of this leg. I stumbled upon this part of the trail while researching Jurtaka trail and was instantly drawn to its natural beauty and adventure potential. It definitely exceeded my expectations!
